TAP Air Portugal started activities in 1945 and has ever
since been in operation within a fiercely competitive
and nowadays global industry. Standing today as the Portuguese
leading airline, the Company operates regular flights
to over 60 destinations world-wide. With hub in Lisbon,
a privileged gateway into/out of Europe at the crossroads
of other Continents, TAP operates a modern and recently
renewed fleet of Airbus aircraft: the A319's, A320's and
A321's on the medium haul sector and the A310's and A340's
on the long range one. The Company currently flies to
Europe, Africa, North, Central & South America and operates
in code share with a number of partner-airlines to several
destinations, thus further enhancing its own Network and
providing passengers with an expanded route network. In
the most recent years TAP has been undergoing a significant
restructuring and continuously investing to deliver safe,
high quality and efficient services in order to be able
to meet all the challenges put forward by the ever increasing
competition within the international air transport scenery.
