The Quinta da Pacheca is one of the best known properties in the Douro region. It is worth noting that it was the first to bottle wines under its own label. The Quinta da Pacheca is first mentioned in a document dated 17th April 1738, as being a property of D. Mariana Pacheca Pereira. Nowadays, the Quinta da Pacheca offers the opportunity of visiting one of the most ancient "quinta" of the area as well as the ancient cellars and wine press tanks where the good red wines "Quinta da Pacheca" are produced.
