This March, Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomed a Brazilian Fam Trip developed in collaboration with the Visit Portugal team in Brazil and Azul Airlines.

This initiative brought together key travel operators to experience the region first-hand, combining cultural visits, wine experiences, and immersive moments across several destinations. The programme was designed to highlight the diversity of the destination, reinforcing its positioning among Brazilian travellers.

Participants travelled across Porto, Braga, Guimarães, Trás-os-Montes, and the Douro Valley, following a carefully designed programme that provided a comprehensive view of the region and its tourism ecosystem.

The initiative also included a dedicated networking session, creating valuable opportunities for direct engagement between international buyers and local stakeholders.
