Getting to Porto and the North of Portugal will be even easier this Christmas and New Year. Chair Airlines has announced an expanded operation between Switzerland and Porto, bringing more direct connections during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

Between 18 December 2026 and 10 January 2027, the airline will increase the number of Zurich–Porto flights and, for the first time, introduce a direct Basel–Porto connection. In total, 20 departures from Zurich and Basel to Porto are scheduled throughout the festive season.

This additional air connectivity is particularly important for the Swiss market, supporting travellers visiting friends and relatives while also creating more opportunities for leisure travel to Porto and the North of Portugal.
