From 14 to 15 May 2019, Associação do Porto e Norte supported the visit of a group of tour operators (JATA - Japan Association of Travel Agents) from Japan.

The group started by visiting Monverde, where they stayed. They left for Amarante and were enchanted by the tale of St. Nicholas associated with the city. They went to the Douro region where they embarked on a cruise, had lunch at the Vintage House, visited Quinta do Seixo (a farm prepared with translations for the Japanese market), following a train ride to Pocinho. They were housed in Casas do Côro and in the following morning they went to the Center of Portugal.
