For the second time in a row, ITB China was present at ATP's co-exhibition with Turismo de Portugal from 15 to 17 May 2019 in Shanghai.

This is a Matchmaking meeting fair, with 15 meetings scheduled for the first and second day, and just a few scheduled for the last day.

With very few no-shows, it was still possible to hold a few more meetings than scheduled. In total, close to 60 contacts were made.

It was clearly noted that Porto and Northern Portugal are beginning to have more visibility for this market. Porto and North of Portugal is beginning to be more and more contemplated by the Chinese OT, gaining a prominent place and preference, considering the authenticity and variety of products that the region has to offer.

Overall, it was an excellent participation, as contacts were established with China's major tourism agents, where almost all of them already knew Porto and the Region and already wanted to start working on the destination.
