Porto and the North of Portugal recently welcomed journalist Jenny Peters, who visited the region to write an article on wine tourism for the Los Angeles Times.
Following the launch of TAP’s new direct route between Los Angeles and Lisbon, Porto and the North of Portugal partnered with TAP Air Portugal and the Visit Portugal team in the United States to welcome American journalist Jenny Peters for a tailored press trip focused on wine tourism.
Between May 29 and June 3, Jenny explored Porto and the North of Portugal, immersing herself in the region’s wine culture — from the iconic Port and Douro wines to the vibrant Vinho Verde landscape.
The journey took her through the stunning Douro Valley and into the heart of cities like Porto and Amarante, where she stayed at some of the region’s finest hotels, visited renowned wine estates, and enjoyed the wines and gastronomy that so distinctly represent the North.
Her upcoming feature in the Los Angeles Times will spotlight Porto and the North of Portugal as a must-experience destination for wine lovers.
