The “O Norte Lá Em Cima” campaign was launched, for the national market, on 8 July 2020, with the purpose of promoting Porto and the North of Portugal as a tourist destination, increasing the destination’s tourist expenditure, discovering new experiences and preparing the future by profiling the tourists who visit the region.
In 2021, we will launch the “O Norte Lá Em Cima” campaign in international markets, which stand out some of the main tourism source markets: Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Benelux and Germany.
Taking into account the different markets, the campaign will be available in four languages, both on landing pages and in videos.

One of the main focuses of the international campaign continues to be the call to action for live chat, available on the different landing pages.
The campaign will be on several different media channels, with a strong focus on digital with micro-segmentation configured by the characteristics of the destination itself and prior research. It will be the insights that will enable the development of the most effective themes, segmented by regions, services or personalised experiences, according to different criteria. It will be promoted on different digital platforms, such as Social Media, Google and the Display Network ads.
