Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau took part in the Training Session – Platform Navigation and Use, held at Porto Business School as part of the Tourism Intelligence Centre.

The session introduced participants to the Tourism Intelligence Centre platform, providing an overview of its features and analytical tools, while gathering valuable feedback that will contribute to its continuous development. Designed to support data-driven decision-making, the platform will provide more than 500 indicators, analytical dashboards, predictive models and AI-powered tools.

Recent insights released through the Tourism Intelligence Centre already highlight the region's strong international performance, with more than 3.2 million inbound air passengers booked to arrive in Porto over the next 12 months, a sentiment index of 89.3/100, an average visitor rating of 9/10, and visitors from 114 nationalities during the São João week.

Developed by Porto Business School in partnership with Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau and Ubiwhere, and funded by Portugal's Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), the CIT represents an important step towards a more informed and innovative tourism sector.
