The Associação de Turismo do Porto (ATP) is in Madrid until Sunday, January 26th, to participate in the FITUR - International Tourism Trade Fair.
FITUR is one of the biggest tourism trade fairs in Europe and is held annually at the Spanish capital. The first three days of the exhibition are exclusively dedicated to trading visitors. Their purpose is to make new contacts and find network opportunities. The participants also have the opportunity to attend the conference program and the technical sessions, where renowned specialists give important information and present the newest trends in the travel market. At the weekend, the show opens to the general public that searches for novelties among the exhibitors.
As usually, Turismo de Portugal is represented through the Portuguese regions: Porto and North, Centro de Portugal, Lisboa, Alentejo, Açores and Madeira. The ATP participates in FITUR as the Porto and North Official Tourism Board with 14 of its partners: Anetours, Bedriven, BTRUST, Cálem Wine Cellars, Feel Porto, Fundação de Serralves, HF Hotels, Iberobus, Magic Tourism, Rota do Douro, Sogrape, Tomaz do Douro and Vidago Palace.
