Terms and conditions

Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte, with tax address at Rua Clube dos Fenianos, nº 25, at post-code 4000-172, Porto, Portugal and tax ID number 503.393.517, being a non-profit organization, will promote the “Porto & North Shoot – Celebrating World Photo day” competition, in which the winner will win a 2-night trip to Porto and the North of Portugal, including the round-trip flight, accommodation and breakfast for two.

1. ENTERING THE COMPETITION:

1.1 All followers of the Instagram page @visitportoandnorth, of legal age, can enter;

1.2 Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte reserves the right to refuse participation in the competition, without prior notice or justification;

1.3 To enter the competition, entrants must:
a. Follow the Instagram account @visitportoandnorth;
b. Share in your feed one or more photos taken in the region of Porto and North Portugal in your profile with the @visitportoandnorth tag, the hashtag #portoandnorthshoot and identification of the place where they were taken;
c. Put in the description of the publication the reason why everyone should visit the place in Porto and North featured in the publication feed.
d. Send the photo in the contest by private message to the Instagram account @visitportoandnorth;

1.4 There is no limit to the number of entries per follower. Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte’s employees and their direct family members are not allowed to enter;

1.5 The competition will run for one week (August 19th to 16th). The winner will be announced between August 27th and 31st .

1.6 The winner will win a trip for 2 people to Porto and the North of Portugal, and it includes:
a. Round-trip flight with direct connection to Porto (Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport) or trip by train, 2 nights’ accommodation with breakfast included in a 4-star hotel in Porto and the North of Portugal - double room - standard category for two; 1 experience with our associate Birdie in Porto;
b. The trip does not include transfers, nor any other service or product that has not been previously mentioned;
c. The winner will be responsible for stating his preferred departure international airport. The selected origin international airport must have direct commercial flights to and from Francisco Sá Carneiro International Airport (OPO).

1.5 Conditions:
a. The competition’s prize must be taken before 31 December 2021;
b. The Winner must notify Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte in writing at least two months in advance of their willingness to use the competition's prize, via email: marketing@portocvcom;
c. Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte is responsible for booking the flight / train and accommodation;
d. The prize is personal and non-transferable, and cannot, under any circumstances, be exchanged for a voucher, coupon or cash;
e. The winner will not be able to change the flight / train and accommodation dates after it has been confirmed;
f. The winner will receive confirmation of the flight / train and stay, at least, one month in advance;
g. Any extras (nights, transfers, meals, etc.) not included in point 1.3. will be the winner’s responsibility, and Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte has no responsibility for them.

2. EXCLUSIONS:

2.1 Only entries that respect all the conditions of the competition will be validated. Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte reserves the right to exclude any entry that does not respect the competition rules. The rules will be available at www.portocvb.com;

2.2 Entrants declare to authorise and freely grant the use of their name, image, voice, photographs, audio and audiovisual recordings, including those taken in the photo shoot for promoting on the digital and promotional channels (website, social media, among others) of Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte.

3. WINNERS:

3.1 The winner will be announced between 27 and 31 of August of 2021, on the Instagram account @visitportoandnorth;

3.2 The winner will be selected by the a Jury composed by of Turismo do Porto e Norte;

3.3 Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte reserves the right not to select a winner, if none of the entries meet all the requirements;

3.4 Once the winner's name is announced, Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte will contact him/her directly, by direct message on his/her Instagram account, requesting information to obtain all the winner's details;

3.5 Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte reserves the right to cancel the prize for the competition, if there is evidence of fraud, under the terms of this competition rules and of Portuguese law;

3.6 The winner will not be compensated if he/her cannot use the prize, for reasons beyond the control of Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte.

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS:

4.1 The personal data collected in the context of the competition are automatically processed for the purpose of managing your entry, including indication of your identity, contacts, image and voice, in the information and promotion materials, and must be provided if the data subject wishes to participate. Any omissions or inaccuracies in the data provided by the subjects are entirely and exclusively their responsibility and will automatically invalid the entry in the competition, without any payment or compensation;

4.2 The subject's personal data will be kept for the duration of his/her relationship with ATP. Some data (name of the subject and contacts), may be kept indefinitely by ATP in the context of its tourist promotion activity, respecting the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);

4.3 The subject may contact ATP, regarding any issues related to the processing of personal data carried out in this context, via the email address rgpd@portocvb.com;

4.4 Authorisation for the use of proceedings and image rights, within the scope of this competition, is granted by the subject to ATP, free of charge, without the payment of any remuneration or compensation;

4.6 Any questions about entering the competition can be answered by email marketing@portocvb.com;

4.7 Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte reserves the right to amend the conditions of the competition, without prejudice to its participants. These changes will be released, in the same terms and channels as the original ones.

4.8 Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte reserves the right to suspend or cancel this competition, in case of force majeure circumstances that justify it. These decisions will be disclosed, in the same terms and channels as the original ones.

4.9 Any dispute between the parties resulting from the interpretation or enforceability of the conditions of this Competition will be lodged at the Tribunal da Comarca do Porto, with express waiver of any other.
