Transavia will open a new route between Porto and Montpellier at the beginning of July, Ryanair will resume air links to Eindhoven and Brussels at the end of June.
The French airline's recovery plan includes opening a new route with the French city of Montpellier at the beginning of July, in addition to the connections to Nantes and Lyon already resumed at the beginning of this week. The connection to Montpellier will run on two flights a week starting from £29 and is scheduled until August.
Ryanair, the largest low-cost airline operating in Portugal, will resume connections with Eidhoven on 21 June and Brussels the following day and plans to re-establish air connections between Porto and other European cities for July and August.
These three connections are in addition to others announced over the last few weeks by airlines such as Air France, Lufthansa, Swiss, EasyJet and Luxair, which have included Oporto Airport in their recovery plans.
