Press Trip: Harper's Bazaar Thailand

#Press Trip

Harper's Bazaar Thailand, a fashion magazine, visited Porto in June 2018 to experience the best places the city has to offer.

Rathasiam Sinlakhun came from the other side of the world - Bangkok, Thailand - eager to discover the wonders of the city which, a year earlier, had won the title of "Best European Destination".

The journalist published a long two-page article highlighting the best to see and do in Porto. In his own words, the charm of Porto is incomparable. He shared many tips and places to visit, such as São Bento Railway Station, Carmo Church, Clérigos Tower, Lello Library, Casa da Música, Ribeira and Luiz I Bridg.

Rathasiam also mentions some incredible experiences, such as being able to fly over the Port in a helicopter, ride electric through the city's busy narrow streets, full of history and culture and of course listen to Fado, a traditional genre of Portuguese music.

Finally, he devotes a reasonable portion of his article explaining to readers the story behind Port wine, featuring some of the wineries they can visit while they are in town.
