Drivers of foreign registered vehicles on Portuguese motorways can now join the Easytoll system online, which allows the use of exclusively electronic toll collection systems.

The Easytoll system is an automatic payment solution, which associates a bank card to the vehicle registration, valid for vehicles with foreign registration on motorways without toll plaza at entrances and exits. The subscription can be made online at the Portal de Tolgens da Infraestruturas de Portugal, including through mobile devices, and is valid for 30 days.

The decision of Infraestruturas de Portugal, S.A. (IP) simplifies the process and makes it easier for visitors to travel by land and comes at a time when many tourists will prefer the car to travel to Portugal.
