The Meetings Show has announced the dates for the 2021 edition. The event will take place between September 30 and October 1, at ExCel London, and online for those who cannot attend in person.
Last year, the event was held entirely online due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the organization, the edition was a success, which motivated this year's event to be designed in a hybrid format.
The objective of this year's event, whether in the fair or in a virtual environment, is to help the events industry recover from the losses of the last few months.
This year, the trade show takes place later than usual. Jack Marczewski, director of The Meetings Show justifies the choice of dates "with the current uncertainty about the opening of large-scale fairs and events in the summer" and expresses the organization's concern to "ensure the greatest confidence for both our exhibitors and participants. The director also adds that they are preparing a very complete educational program and ways to facilitate interaction among all and believes that the event will play an important role in the recovery of the sector.
