The Sunday Times have a city break

#Press Trip

Duncan Craig, Editor of The Sunday Times, the largest-selling British national newspaper in the so-called "quality press" market category, founded in 1821, which means, almost 200 years ago, was in Porto to promote the city break product in the British market.

In this 3-day journey, the delegation will have the chance to visit Porto in all possible variables - the history and legacy of a UNESCO World Heritage and the modern cosmopolitan side of the city. From the brand new Hotel Infante de Sagres, an old-fashion hotel fully refurbished in 2017, Vogue Caffé or Casa da Musica, to some of the landmarks of Porto patrimonial culture landmarks, such as Palácio da Bolsa, Porto Wine Cellars or even a stroll around the city center.

This press trip could not possibly be complete without a Douro River Cruise, a boat trip which is a true delight to your eyes, witnessing both Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia Riverbanks. This "6 bridges cruise" gives everyone the opportunity to admire the typical houses and the hustle and bustle of the Ribeira people, while admiring the architecture of the bridges which connect the cities.
