The 5th Cimeira do Turismo Português to be held next Monday, September 28th, will be attended by the Portuguese President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and the Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa. "Post-Covid Tourism" is the theme of this virtual edition that marks the World Tourism Day celebrated on the previous day.
The Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rita Marques, the President of Turismo de Portugal, Luís Araújo, and the Mayor of Lisbon, Fernando Medina, will also participate in the summit scheduled to begin at 3 pm.
The summit programme starts with the opening session that will give way to two debate panels, the first "Covid-19: Impact on Tourism and the Economy" starts at 3:40pm, the second "Covid-19: The Future of Tourism" starts at 4:35pm. The closing session is scheduled for 6pm.
