The visit to the North began with a dinner at The George and a stay at Hotel Vila Foz. The next day, they headed to Penafiel to visit Quinta da Aveleda, from where they went to Casa da Calçada, in Amarante. AThe afternoon was spent at Hotel Monverde, where they spent the night after performing the "Winemaker for a Day" experiment. The third day began with a trip to The Pedras Salgadas spa & nature park and a visit to the Vidago Palace Hotel, where they had lunch. It ended with a return to Porto, a Port Wine wine tasting at Cockburn's Caves, a downtown walking tour and, finally, a dinner at DOP Porto restaurant.
