The purpose of ATP / PCVB is the international promotion of Porto and Northern Portugal as a Tourist Destination of Excellence.

Our marketing plan focuses on the priority and strategic markets for Porto and Northern Portugal with the aim of generating brand-destination awareness and, at the same time, creating business opportunities for our members.

Porto CVB annually carries out a marketing plan that includes:

  • Activities with the Press;
  • Activities with tourist agents (workshops, roadshows, Fam Trips, attract and support international congresses);
  • Attending international fairs and trade shows;
  • Online and offline advertising;
  • Online channels;
  • Promotional activities of the Destination in foreign markets;
  • Support to Air Routes.

 

Being a member means being part of a credible and prestigious project, in partnership with a group of public and private organisations, benefiting from:

  • Being part of Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte, A.R., with a member status whose Class typology suits the corresponding company (e.g.: Class A - Hotels, Class B - DMCs, etc.);
  • Raise notoriety and promote the organisation image via the promotional activities included in the marketing plan and in the Bureau's promotional material (whenever these are suited to the offer made available by the member);
  • Access to information available on the database (customers and service providers), sales leads, newsletters, lists of events;
  • To include the respective Plans and Budgets of activities in the Marketing and Sales Plans, which under the Protocol with Turismo de Portugal, enables the members to benefit from a funding.
