National Post, one of the most historical publications in Canada, will be visiting the region this week, taking profit of the new direct connection from Toronto to Porto, which inaugural flight was held the 8^th june.

During these days, the group of journalist will be visiting some of the main touristic landmarks of the region, which includes extensive strolls around the Historic Centres of two UNESCO World Heritage sites, in Porto and Guimarães, in the heart of Minho, as well as a visit to the Douro Valley, which obviously includes an exclusive Porto Wine tasting at Quinta do Panascal, where some of the finest Vintages will be savoured in a wine flight. The visit could not be complete without a Douro River Cruise, where the group will have the chance to see the 6 bridges which separate Porto from Gaia, its twin city.
