The promotional films “The Majestic Adventures of Ofelia de Souza” and “Porto and the North of Portugal are awaking” were two of the winners of the 2022 edition of the International Tourism Film Festival Africa, one of the festivals that are part of the CIFFT Circuit.

The highlight was the film “The Majestic Adventures of Ofelia de Souza”, which won the Tourism International Grand Prix and the Gold Award in Tourism Products. In turn, the video “Porto and the North of Portugal are awaking” received the Gold Award in Tourism Destination Region.

As for Ofelia de Souza’s promotional film, it is already the second Grand Prix won within the scope of the CIFFT 2022 Circuit, after having won the same award at the Japan World’s Tourism Film Festival. It is also worth remembering that, also recently, it won a Gold Trophy at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.

At the award ceremony of this African festival, which took place on May 6 in Cape Town, South Africa, the promotional film series "Porto & North Travel Series" was also awarded a Gold Award, but in the category DOC & TV - Travel & Tourism.

At the event, 80 winners were announced, including Silver, Gold and Grand Prix of three competitions: DOC & TV, Tourism International and Tourim Africa. The fourth edition of this festival had 315 entries, from more than 50 countries.
