From 28 September to 2 October, Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau, in collaboration with Visit Portugal in the Netherlands, hosted a Press Trip dedicated to showcasing the region as a destination for nature and outdoor tourism.

Organised by Filipa Mesquita, from the Marketing & Communications Department, together with our DMC partner Project Travel & Events, the trip welcomed journalists from hetkanWEL, Nature Travel Lab, OpPad, TripTalk and Zin Magazine.

Throughout the programme, the group explored different sides of the region, travelling through Ponte de Lima, Peneda-Gerês National Park, Guimarães, Arouca, Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. The itinerary combined natural landscapes, outdoor experiences, local culture and gastronomy, providing first-hand inspiration for future stories aimed at the Dutch market.
