Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte joined Associação de Hotéis Rurais de Portugal with the purpose of promoting and disseminating the Rural Hotels of Portugal at an international level, enhancing the tourist value of each region in the North. The partnership is part of a COMPETE membership developed by the Associação de Hotéis Rurais de Portugal in which ATP, as an external promotion entity of the destination, established the contacts and support necessary to attract bloggers, journalists and tour operators.

The first action began on Monday, February 11, with a group of journalists and tour operators in the Brazilian market and whose reception took place in the Welcome Center of the Regional and North Territory, with the presence of the President of the Entity, Dr. Luis Pedro Martins and the Executive Director of ATP, Dr. Rui Pedro Gonçalves.
