Porto has once again earned its place among Europe’s leading destinations, taking home the title of Europe’s Leading Cultural City Destination at the 33rd World Travel Awards!

The awards were announced on 17 October, during the World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony in Montenegro, recognising Porto’s outstanding cultural appeal, alongside several Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau members and attractions, highlighting the region’s excellence and international recognition in the tourism sector.

Luís Pedro Martins, President of Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau, attended the ceremony, celebrating another important milestone for the destination.

Several regional tourism businesses and attractions were also recognised at European and national levels:
