Three days of knowledge-sharing, new perspectives and meaningful connections brought the international business events community together at the International Fair of Lisbon (FIL)) for PCMA Convening EMEA 2026, organised by Leading as the event’s PCO.

Patrícia Morris, Convention Bureau Coordinator, and Olena Lopes from the MICE Department represented Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau, promoting the destination among international planners, buyers, and industry leaders.

Throughout the event, the team joined sessions exploring relationship-building, leadership in a changing environment, and the trends shaping the future of the business events industry, while creating new connections across key international markets.

Porto and the North also had a dedicated Partner Booth, supported by destination audiovisual content, while regional gastronomy took centre stage at the Live Cooking Regional Booth. The destination was also featured in the Immersive Dome, offering participants another perspective on the region and its potential for international meetings and events.
