A dynamic setting for business connections brought together leading professionals from the sports tourism and MICE segments in Seville. From March 23 to 25, Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau took part in Sports & Events, a B2B workshop organised by Grupo Eventoplus, focused on linking sports, tourism, meetings, and events.

Represented by Patrícia Morris, Convention Bureau Coordinator, the destination engaged in 25 one-to-one meetings with international event organisers, incentive agencies, and specialised sports tourism operators. These meetings provided valuable opportunities to position Porto and the North of Portugal as a competitive destination for hosting sports events and corporate gatherings.

The presence of our members further reinforced this joint effort, including Axis Hotels, Cosmos – Travel4Sports, Detours, FEEL Essence DMC, Leading, Local by Clube Viajar, OSIRIS – O-Sports, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, and Vinitur.
