Another international recognition for our destination! Porto and the North of Portugal has once again earned a place in the prestigious Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards, with Porto and several hotels from the region featuring among readers’ favourites worldwide.

In the UK edition, Porto achieved outstanding results:

• 1st Friendliest City in Europe
• 2nd Friendliest City in the World
• 7th Best City in Europe
• 16th Best City in the World

The region’s hospitality also received international recognition, with The Vintage House and The Yeatman featured among the selected hotels in the UK Readers’ Choice Awards.

Across the Atlantic, the US edition of the awards also placed Porto and the North among its 2026 selections:

• Six Senses Douro Valley – Destination Spas
• The Yeatman – World Hotels
