Between 28 April and 1 May, Porto and the North of Portugal took part in the Re-think Travel Marketing Portugal US Roadshow, which visited several North American cities.

The Re•think Travel Marketing Portugal US Roadshow 2025 was a tremendous success, connecting Portugal’s vibrant tourism regions with our American travel trade partners in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Boston.

Porto and the North of Portugal was proud to lead this high-energy series of events with the ground support of our american representative Rethink Travel, joined by our fellow regional tourism boards – Alentejo, Center of Portugal, Algarve, and Madeira. With the invaluable support of Visit Portugal and TAP Air Portugal, we brought a taste of Portugal directly to the West and East Coasts and forged fantastic new connections.

Having our President, Luís Pedro Martins, and our International Promotion Coordinator, Mariana Sousa Pavão, showcasing the charms of Porto and the North to our American guests, reinforced how much we value this market and our partnerships.

TAP Air Portugal’s new direct flights from Los Angeles to Lisbon and from Porto to Boston will strengthen connectivity, it will soon be easier than ever for American travelers to experience our destinations. These new routes open exciting opportunities to welcome more U.S. visitors and deepen our transatlantic ties.
