Industrial Tourism continues to gain momentum in Portugal, and Porto and the North is leading the way.

According to the latest Portuguese Industrial Tourism Network survey, the country welcomed more than 2.4 million industrial tourism visitors in 2025, with 35.7% choosing Porto and the North of Portugal. The region also accounted for 55.3% of all visits to industrial heritage sites, highlighting its leading position in this growing tourism segment.

From historic factories and mines to renowned wine estates and working production sites, Industrial Tourism offers visitors a different perspective on our region—where heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation come together.
