Porto and North Tourism Board received this week in the region a group of American journalists, which came in the inaugural flight of the new direct and daily connection New York – Porto, to get to know Porto and North of Portugal.

During this initiative, ATP promoted the diversity of the northern region of the country, showing the best that the destination has to offer in its gastronomy and wines, historical, natural and cultural heritage, exploring in depth a region that, through the Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, is now "closer" to the American continent.

This initiative, in partnership with United Airlines allowed journalists from prestigious media such as Forbes, NY Daily News, Fodors and Thrilist, to visit not only Porto but also other unforgettable touristic landmarks such as Ponte de Lima, Braga, Amarante.
