“The Big Trend”, a film by Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau, has been awarded Gold in the “Tourism Destination Regions” category at the Japan World's Tourism Film Festival. Developed for the MICE segment, the campaign reinforces the region’s positioning as a leading destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events.

This recognition is part of the CIFFT Ranking, which brings together the most awarded tourism videos and campaigns worldwide, ultimately recognising the World’s Best Tourism Films, a distinction that Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau have achieved in the past.

As highlighted by President Luís Pedro Martins: “We are very pleased with this award, especially in a market where we have been investing through a range of external promotional actions, a market we regard as high-yield. It also reinforces our confidence that we are creating impactful communication pieces that earn international recognition.”

This new chapter marks the return of Ofelia de Souza, bringing a fresh and distinctive perspective while highlighting the people, creativity, and character that define Porto and the North of Portugal.

Produced by KOBU Agency and co-produced by Probably Films, the film also stands out for the participation of the Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau team, reinforcing a sense of proximity, collaboration, and shared identity.
