Four reference british newspapers - Sunday World, The London Economic, The Independent and The People Sunday – will have the pleasure to visit Porto & Northern Portugal in an extensive stroll which will cover some of the region’s touristic landmarks. 

Lousada, Amarante, Douro, Lamego, Vidago, Chaves, Guimarães, Braga and Porto are the cities which will be visited by this entourage, focused on gastronomy & wines and cultural tourism.

On the first day of this press trip, journalists Eugene Costello, Carolina Howley, Harriet Marsden and Louisa Gregson had the chance to visit the Interpretation Center of the Romanesque, in Lousada, enjoy a Don Rodrigo workshop, a famous delicacy of the region, as well as have dinner at Taberna d´Anita, all of this at Amarante, one of the cities with the most touristic potential of the region, not before having a tasting of the finest wines Porto & Northern Portugal has to offer, at Quinta da Roêda, in the heart of Douro.
