The largest Dutch daily morning newspaper, with a daily circulation of over 400.000 copies, and a reference in european journalism, De Telegraaf is visiting the region in the year of commemoration of their 125th anniversary.

During this 5-day visit, journalist Yvette Bax will have the chance to visit not only Porto, Matosinhos and Gaia, but also other memorable european touristic landmarks, such as the Douro Valley, with a 4x4 tour from Porto to another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Back to Porto, De Telegraaf will be able to explore Porto as a traditional and historical city, but also as a modern and cosmopolitan ouristic destination. On one hand the tour will visit places such as the Cathedral, S. Bento station, Ribeira, Wine Cellars as well as Livraria Lello and on the other trendy spots such as The Yeatman Hotel, Vogue Caffé, Mini-Bar, the newest Chef Avillez restaurant, Contemporary Art Musem of Serralves or the House of Architecture, in Matosinhos.


The Porto & Northern Portugal experience could not be complete without trying a radical activity, climbing the Ponte da Arrábida to have a marvellous sight of Porto and going to National Park of Peneda Gerês, to explore all the natural beauty and have a cannonying experience.
