Three days, more than 45 meetings, and countless opportunities to showcase Porto and the North of Portugal to the global meetings and events industry at IMEX Frankfurt, which took place from 19 to 21 May.

Represented by Patrícia Morris, Convention Bureau Coordinator, and Olena Lopes from the MICE department, Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau held more than 45 meetings with partners, clients, associations, and incentive houses during IMEX Frankfurt, confirming the strong interest in Porto and the North of Portugal for business events.

The announcement of the latest ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) rankings was one of the highlights of the week, reinforcing the destination’s strong international positioning. Positive feedback from buyers also underscored the region’s diversity, authenticity, and excellent conditions for hosting meetings, conferences, and congresses.
