Turismo de Portugal transformed the tourist destination’s communication #CantSkipPortugal into a message of hope for this time of uncertainty caused by COVID-19. #CantSkipHope intends to make people aware of the need to stop, for now, so that we can resume our lives as soon as possible.
The message used images of Portugal’s best, its landscapes, monuments, moments and people, to remember “what awaits us if we know how to wait”.
The campaign was launched on video in the different online communication channels of Turismo de Portugal last week. The film was entirely edited on a remote work basis, by reusing images from previous years. The voice-over was recorded at home using a smartphone.
