Porto and Northen Portugal Tourism Board took this weekend part in the opening ceremony of the new transatlantic route Porto – Toronto.

This flight operated by Air Canada Rouge, part of the Air Canada group, which is member of Star Alliance since its foundation in 1997. Air Canada Rouge started this week the new summer route with three weekly flights, all operated on Boeing B767-300, a 282-seat aircraft, of which 24 are in Premium Rouge, the executive seats.

All flights have convenient times to connect with other global Air Canada hubs, such as Calgary, Montréal or Vancouver, as well as a comprehensive network of other destinations in Canada and all American continent. The new route departs from Porto (flight AC1959) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays at 12:20 p.m., arriving in Toronto at 3:20 pm local time. The other way around, towards Porto (flight AC1958) are nocturnal on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with departures at 10:50 p.m. (local time) and arrivals at 10:50a.m.
